A Word From the Team!

The VOW Initiative Team is very happy to welcome you to the start of an exciting and inspirational new project called VOW (Voice of Women) Initiative. This is an initiative that is made up of a global team of young people who are very keen on promoting a global voice for women. We are aware of the challenges that women have to face every day in life and we came up with the idea of creating a common space that will encourage women to share their thoughts, stories and good practices with one another. A space where women can connect irrespective of their age, race, class, religion and political affiliations. A platform that reinforces a spirit of sisterhood!

We employ different means that will keep you informed and connected to the realities of a woman’s world. We use blogging, videos, arts and any other advocacy tool to send a message across. On our Top 10 page, we give the opportunity to any woman to give a rundown of her top favorite things by women. It could be books, music, restaurants, businesses, people, blogs, fashion lines etc. This project is open to people, projects and organisations that promote women’s rights.
